Credat is an open-source TypeScript library that brings decentralized identity to AI agent ecosystems. It allows agents to create verifiable identities (did:web, did:key), issue scoped delegation credentials, and perform cryptographic handshakes to establish mutual trust. Built on W3C DID v1.1 and VC Data Model standards, with minimal dependencies and a transport-agnostic design. Used as the reference implementation for ongoing research on Sybil attacks in DID-based agent ecosystems.
