Credat is an open-source TypeScript library that brings decentralized identity to AI agent ecosystems. Agents get verifiable identities via did:web and did:key, issue scoped delegation credentials, and perform a cryptographic handshake to establish mutual trust. Built on W3C DID v1.1 and the Verifiable Credentials Data Model, with minimal dependencies and a transport-agnostic core. Around it sits a small suite: a CLI, drop-in protection for HTTP APIs, a LangChain and LangGraph integration, and runnable end-to-end demos.
